Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Coastal Empire receives 82% of our funding from private donations. Support from individuals like you is vital to providing mentors for children in our community.
At Big Brothers of the Coastal Empire, 92% of every dollar you give goes directly to making and supporting Big Brothers/Sister and their Littles. The remainder covers overall program administration. Charity navigator, the country’s premier independent charity evaluator, has awarded Big Brothers Big Sisters of American a 4-star “exceptional” rating for outstanding fiscal management for the fifth consecutive year. In its most recent review, Big Brothers Big Sisters was selected by Forbes Magazine as one of its top ten charities, making the publication’s “gold star” list of charities worthy of donor consideration.

- Cover the costs of background checks and insurance, while ensuring trained
professionals match children to caring and responsible volunteers
- Offer one-on-one, ongoing supervision and support for every match

Tribute & Memorial Gifts
Giving a gift in memory of a loved one or in honor of a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion is a special way to pay tribute to that special someone while supporting the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters. All memorial and honor gifts will be acknowledged through a personal note sent by Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Coastal Empire to the honored person(s).

Pledges
